From this tab, one can check the system's parameters in real-time, with the graphs' help. Next in line is the Hardware monitor, or HWM. The first category is VGA - the first panel you see upon launching the app - lets you adjust some basic performance-related functions such as fan speed, power consumption, GPU temperature, RGB lights, and overclock. Four main categories were put in place to guide you through the tweaks.įurthermore, almost all tweaks have tooltips containing detailed information about what the specific action does, greatly improving the learning process for first-time users. The UI looks nothing like XOC, as every detail was reworked in order to come up with an improved design and straightforward controls. Precision X1 is not a new product, however, its predecessor, Precision XOC has been around for some time, so those familiar with the latter will have an easier time understanding its mechanics. EVGA Precision X1 is a smart utility designed to give you more control over your graphics card. Just as the CPU can be tweaked with different tools, so can the GPU. As soon as I kill either XOC or X1, my available RAM goes back up the around 10 out of 12 gigs. Anybody have any ideas because I have not noticed anybody else having this issue, either here in this forum or in a general Google search. So I went into Task Manager ( Windows 10 home ) and looked at the performance tab and it was reporting the same drastic reduction of available system RAM that RamRush was! Proving that it's a real issue on my PC. I then thought, well maybe Ran Rush, being a third party program of limited fame, was just not reporting my RAM usage correctly or legitimately. It still happened exactly the same way with X1. So then I downloaded the newer X1 to replace XOC, hoping there was just a memory leak with XOC and that X1 would fix the problem. I was using a program called RamRush which is a Ram memory optimizer and it showed my available RAM go down steady to less that 500Mb in about one minute after bringing up XOC. Didn't seem like it used to do that, seems to have started this lately. Hello, I noticed a problem with my older install of Precision XOC, it was hogging up almost my entire 12 Gigs of RAM ( not the card's VRAM ).
